McLaren London: Open for business

McLaren London - open for business Almost exactly a year on from McLaren’s announcement that the UK will have three McLaren dealers – London, Birmingham and Manchester – the first of those dealers, McLaren London, opened for business yesterday. Operated by Jardine Motors (who may be more familiar as Lancaster), Mclaren London is the ground floor face of One Hyde Park, the mega-bucks apartment block you may best know as the building where £1 billion of apartments have been sold – but no one has moved in. Ron Dennis is probably banking on some of the owners of those apartments – including a Ukrainian Oligarch said to have paid £136 million for his apartment – popping downstairs to take a look at what McLaren has on offer – and bringing along a friend or three.

A leaked picture of the new Hyundai i40 / Sonata Hyundai has released sketches of the i40 as a tease ahead of the launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month, but unfortunately for them we’ve received the picture you see at the top – and those in the photo gallery at the bottom – that show the real deal. Which sort of takes the edge off the ‘Stylised’ sketches Hyundai has released. Scion introduces FR-S Release Series

Scion introduced the first FR-S Release Series car, “drawing on track heritage and the expertise of Toyota Racing Development" at the New York auto show. The biggest change on the FR-S Release Series is the custom-designed aerodynamic work, including the front lip, rear spoiler and side skirts. It also gets Toyota Racing Development quad exhaust, lowering springs and a smart key with push-button start.
